Agadir Airport (AGA) to City Center: Transport & Arrival Guide 2026

Everything travelers need to know about arriving at Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA): immigration wait times, transport options to the city center, and how Fast Track makes it effortless.

Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA) is Morocco's 3rd busiest airport, welcoming over 3.49 million passengers in 2025;up 11% from the year before, driven largely by growing demand for beach holidays and golf tourism along the Atlantic coast. For a first-time visitor, the biggest question after landing usually isn't "what will I do in Agadir". It's "how do I actually get out of this airport and into the city." Here's what to expect.

Immigration and customs: what arrival actually looks like

Without any priority service, queues at immigration can run anywhere from 20 minutes on a quiet morning to over an hour during peak summer season or when several charter flights land close together. With Fast Track Maroc's Meet & Greet service, a dedicated agent meets you right at the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, guides you through a separate priority immigration counter, and walks you all the way to baggage claim and the exit ;typically in under 15 minutes from landing.

Getting from AGA to Agadir city center

Agadir Al Massira Airport sits roughly 25 km southeast of the city center, about a 25 to 35 minute drive depending on traffic and your exact destination. There's no train connection, so your realistic options are a taxi, a pre-booked private transfer, or the ALSA public bus.

●       Official airport taxis (grand taxis): a fixed daytime fare applies, rising for late-night trips. Pick-up is right outside the arrivals hall look for the posted price board before getting in.

●       ALSA public bus: the most budget-friendly option, though less frequent ; a good fit if you're not in a hurry and traveling light.

●       Pre-booked private transfer or Fast Track Meet & Greet: your agent can guide you directly to an official taxi rank, or arrange assistance so you skip any uncertainty about fares or waiting for a shared taxi to fill up.

A quick note: ride-hailing apps like Uber or Bolt are not operational in Agadir, so don't count on your phone to sort out transport once you land plan your route in advance.

If you're heading to Taghazout or the golf resorts

Agadir's airport also serves as the main gateway for the surf town of Taghazout, about 20–25 km further north (roughly 25–30 minutes beyond the city center), and for the region's well-known golf resorts. If that's your final destination, it's worth arranging your transfer in advance rather than negotiating a second leg of travel after a long flight ; your Fast Track agent can help coordinate this on request.

Combine with the Aspire Lounge

If your flight is delayed or you simply want a calmer start or end to your trip, the Aspire Lounge at Agadir Al Massira offers hot and cold catering, high-speed Wi-Fi, press and comfortable seating;  accessible up to 3 hours before departure, well away from the terminal's busiest areas.
